Furnish with yellow: a neverending story

One of the three primary colors, which has always been used in interior design: yellow. Very versatile, it has many different shades and adapts well to any style of furniture.
We tell you a little more about this bright color and give you some ideas to add it to your home.

What is yellow related to?

It has always been considered a sunny, vital and energizing color. In symbolism it is an emblem of conscience and intellect.

One of its characteristics is that it acts both on the nervous system and on the heartbeat and blood circulation.
In chromotherapy, for example, yellow is used to regulate blood pressure and for problems with the digestive and liver systems.

According to some studies, yellow would also influence the way we deal with others. In an environment of this color we would be more likely to communicate in a more extroverted and empathic way. In short, perfect for the conversation area in your home ...
Another quality of yellow is the ability to promote concentration. Why not think of inserting it inside the furniture for the study?

Yellow and interior design

In the world of interiors, yellow has always been used a lot. As we said above, its shades are many and there is something for all tastes. Why insert it in your rooms? In addition to what we told you in the paragraph above, yellow will bring joy, warmth and a note of liveliness to your everyday life.

You can think of yellow, for example, for the wall of the conversation area in the living room, as we said. This color, thanks to its ability to push us to communicate in a more extroverted way with our interlocutor, is perfect as a background for a sofa, armchairs and coffee table! You can think of inserting it both as a wall color and as a wallcovering within a design that moves the environment. Even in the study, as we said before, yellow is very suitable because it promotes concentration. You could use it, once again, for the color of the walls or for the wallpaper. Or you might think about choosing furniture in this color such as armchairs, chairs, desks or objects in your studio. As for the rest of the house, yellow is very often used in the bedrooms in its warmest and deepest shades, while the most lively colors are chosen for the bathroom or kitchen.
